Than I used a hand held electric planer and finally I sanded the blades
Installing the Tip Rockets
Fixing of the rockets with screws into the wood.
Epoxi Putty of the rocket pipes
Silicate putty with high heat resistance and good heat insulation.
Putty and fixing of the straps to get them parallell, horizontal and centered around the center of gravity line (located at 25% of the chord width)
Mounted Straps
Mounting of the hub bar. The 2 degree pitch angle is made with aluminium plate shims.
The shaft bolt has a hole drilled thru it and threadings for the hydrogen peroxide swivel connectors on both ends. On the picture is only one bearing. In the final version I installed double bearings.
